Yikes, it's been more than 2 months since my last post. The good news is that I have a lot of things planned (and mapped out) for this blog. The not-so-good news is that I'm not sure when I'll be able to update; things may be sporadic here for awhile.
Some things have happened fairly recently that have consumed a lot of my time; namely, I got engaged and I got a new job. The new job I've only been at for about a week, but the hiring process/interviews/etc. took about a month. The engagement (:D) happened shortly after my last post. I hope to have more project photos up for everyone soon.
I've got two custom Munnys in the works that were commissioned as part of a prize package for the LARP I'm involved in (Sidereus), and a couple of sewing projects planned for the not-so-distant horizon. There's a Victorian costume I'd like to try, and a couple of outfits for some alt characters I've got in mind. Early this week as well, I should be picking up a delivery from Canada at my Game Director's house. A few months ago I commissioned a custom weapon from the company Ateliers Nemesis for my character Bryndis; it's scheduled to arrive on Monday.
A group of my good friends get together on Thursdays at a local Panera Bread to have dinner, draw, and shoot the sh*t with one another. I've decided to start attending these sketch club evenings in an effort to give myself a jumpstart in the creative department, as well as to get back in the habit of drawing more often.
I apologize for the lack of updates, I promise to have something put together for you soon. I hope. My fiance & I are looking at a house on Wednesday, so we may be moving soon too; that would be an even bigger delay. So we'll see. But the Emporium isn't dead! Keep an eye out for new posts :)
